Le Mas des Géraniums on Opio’s hill among olives trees has been famous for its peaceful seeting for 40 years. It used to be a fullboard hôtel, but for 17 years Colette and Michel Creusot have been the owners of this typical Provencal farm. The surroundings are pure Provence, an olive-grove dotted with fig and lime trees and colourful flowers.

Michel was born in Semur en Auxois, in Burgondy, and when he was 15, he learned cooking and he has build up his experience working all around France. He used to be chef at « Le Relais » in Mougins (06-Alpes Maritimes), which was a two-star Restaurant and where he met Colette. Together, they launched their own restaurant « L’Auberge la Maillardière » in Romenay (71- Saône et Loire).
Colette was born in Bourg en Bresse and was cooker too. She becomes head waiter in their new restaurant. Finaly, Colette and Michel moved to the Riviera where they acquired « Le Mas des Géraniums » in Opio on April the 1er 1991.
